Complementary Initial Design Consultation*
Every project is different, and we want to get to know you and your space. This initial meeting will take place in your home to gather information about your project. We’ll discuss project scope, budget and expectations, and take any necessary dimensions.
What you can do to be ready: gather any photos or images that inspire you! Whether it’s through magazine clippings, a Pinterest board or Houzz Ideabook, we want you to show us your style.

Design Process
Once we have gathered this information, we create design options for you! Using 3D rendering, floor plans, inspirational images, among other methods, we
present 1-3 different options for you to consider. We’ll present these to you either at your home, or using the Client Portal on our website. These options can be modified at your request, we often take aspects from different options to come up with a final design.
After the design is finalized, we create construction drawings for your contractor. These drawings can also be used to obtain permits from your municipality. This step is optional, and isn’t always necessary depending on the scope of the project.
Selection of Finishes, Fixtures and Furniture
The next step is choosing what finishes will be used in your space! Flooring, cabinets and countertop, paint colours, there are an awful lot of choices for each of these! We will help narrow things down for you by bringing samples right to your house for you to look at.
If you would prefer to shop around and just get our opinion on what you’ve chosen we will do that too! We’ll also make suggestions for any furniture or fixtures that are being added to your space, including lighting.
Accessorizing and Decor
The finishing touches are just as important as the planning and implementation! We will help you with window treatments, area rugs, toss cushions, decor for the new mantle on your fireplace, all of the little details.
We’ll either provide you with a shopping list of suggested products, or go shopping and bring the products right to your house.
